WSR are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join the team for our Client, based in Leighton Buzzard

Summary
Our client is seeking a Workshop Engineer. The successful candidate will mainly work on pre-delivery inspections, upgrades to machinery and assisting within their test facility
Key responsibilities:
Complete machine PDI’s/ return check-in/functions tests
Fault finding and perform corrective action
Complete attachment checks - check they fit correctly and are working
Demonstrate machine function and capabilities for Customer demonstrations
Maintain clear, accurate and timely records of all work undertaken
Provide engineering support for the technical team
Comply with industry/company Health & Safety and Environmental requirements
Maintain a clean and tidy workshop and department
Build strong working relationships with colleagues
Be presentable, punctual and professional with customers
Qualifications & Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in working on completing PDI’s, preferably in a sales environment.
Formal technical qualification/apprenticeship.
Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Energetic and able to think on their feet, with problem solving skills.
Self-motivated and confident, able to work alone as well as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and develop.
