WSR are recruiting for a fluent German speaking Field Sales Representative (Retail) to join the team for our Global client based in Germany.
Location: Any location within Germany (fully remote working with occasional travel to Head Office and Local Office)
Salary: 55K€ + Bonus + Company Car
Travel requirement: 75%+
Role overview
Overall responsibility for the support, as well as the long-term sales and profit development of the assigned target and existing customers. The focus here is exclusively on independent retailers. The aim is to open up new opportunities and potential with products and services and increase market penetration. In doing so, it is important to ensure that the best business decisions are made for both the customer and our client and that legal frameworks are adhered to.
Key Accountabilities
Acquire new customers and grow existing accounts at store level
Build strong relationships with key "lighthouse retailers" across organizational levels
Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations
Coordinate and communicate proposals, offers, and reports in collaboration with Sales Support
Maintain a full overview of invoices, services, and pricing for assigned customers
Develop project plans and secure client commitments at every stage
Collaborate proactively with other offices, departments, and teams
Create and update strategic business plans annually
Provide accurate quarterly sales forecasts
Submit bi-weekly activity and performance reports to the Country Manager
Gather and share insights on competitors and market trends
Represent our Client at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events
Support test installations and follow-ups
Person Specification
Knowledge
Deep understanding of all products and services provided
Solid grasp of business processes and store-level operations
Desirable: Existing network in the independent retail sector
Desirable: Background in retail or brand presentation
Experience
Minimum 3 years in field sales
Proven experience with sales presentations and investment goods in German retail
Desirable: Forecasting and year-end reporting experience
