As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented Installation Manager to join their team and lead their site installation services.
Installation Manager Main Objectives
The Installation Manager will report directly to the Senior Implementation Manager and will play a pivotal role in overseeing all site installation services. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Sales Support Team and an Ecosystem of Installation Partners to optimise sales, protect margin, and ensure profitability. This role demands a focus on customer satisfaction, adherence to safety standards, and effective resource management to meet project timelines and cost objectives.
Installation Manager Responsibilities
Lead the business strategy for the installation service delivery.
Develop and implement common ways of working for customer service and on-site installation.
Monitor installation cost trends and implement action plans to support profitability and sustainable growth.
Manage and cultivate partnerships with installation partners to ensure a robust ecosystem.
Oversee the labour schedule to ensure all projects are completed 'right first time’.
Maximise profitability through effective management of onsite issues and snags.
Ensure compliance with local audit and health & safety requirements.
Installation Manager Duties
Create and lead the business growth strategy for installation services.
Empower the team to adopt a common way of working, implementing a best-in-class approach to installation.
Build a robust ecosystem of partners to deliver complete solutions and reduce supplier numbers.
Manage the daily installation workflow, addressing concerns against budget margins.
Review and address free-of-charge orders, escalating to the Senior Implementation Manager when necessary.
Monitor the performance of installation partners, producing meaningful management information reports.
Ensure installation output information is communicated to the required departments with a clear brief on any defects or chargeable extras.
Maximise and maintain effective utilisation for both internal and external fitters/contractors.
Qualifications and Skills:-
Proven experience in managing installations services in a retail/construction setting.
Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities
Understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to support business objectives.
